Create, Protect & Destroy
WORK – FINE ARTS – CREATE, PROTECT & DESTROY
Bali doesn’t whisper — it sings, it smells, it offers and prays. With every step I took on that island, I became entangled in something larger than myself.
The Balinese way of life is steeped in ceremony. Every gesture — from placing flowers in a palm leaf to washing statues under the full moon — is a quiet negotiation between the gods and the everyday.
With Create, Protect & Destroy, I allowed myself to be pulled into the sacred triad of Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva — the creator, the protector, the destroyer. These are not just gods; they are forces, echoes, reminders. They show how a culture holds itself together while the world spins faster.
This project became a meditation on balance. What do we preserve? What do we surrender? And when something sacred slips through our fingers — do we even notice?
